Madison Adopts Comprehensive Plan

Madison Township has officially adopted its 2023 Comprehensive Plan, created in partnership with Neighborhood Strategies. As Licking County’s first established settlement, Madison takes pride in its peaceful lifestyle and strong sense of community. Township leaders hired our team to help chart a course for the future—one that protects the township’s character while preparing for thoughtful, well-managed growth.

The Plan focuses on balancing development with the preservation of Madison’s natural and historic assets. It encourages connected neighborhoods, walkability, and open space conservation while supporting smart infrastructure investments.
