Racine Selects NS to Lead Downtown Redevelopment Plan

Neighborhood Strategies is excited to partner with the Village of Racine in Meigs County, Ohio, to develop a Downtown Redevelopment Plan that will guide the community’s next phase of growth and revitalization. Following our firm’s leadership in project managing Racine’s Appalachian Community Grant Program, Neighborhood Strategies was commissioned to create a plan focused on transforming the downtown district into a vibrant, connected, and economically resilient destination.

The plan will focus on connecting downtown to the newly transformed Ohio Riverfront, encouraging growth through historic building reuse, infrastructure upgrades, and strategic zoning recommendations, and introducing placemaking strategies that foster a lively entertainment district. The project aims to strengthen Racine’s economy, attract new businesses, and enhance quality of life for residents and visitors.
