Neighborhood Strategies is proud to partner with The Ohio State University Extension Coshocton County, the Coshocton County Commissioners, and a 24-member local steering committee to develop an updated Comprehensive Land Use Plan for Coshocton County, the first update in 20 years. The plan will provide long-range guidance for growth, development, agriculture, infrastructure, and land preservation, with community input at the center of the process. Residents, business owners, farmers, and community leaders are helping identify what they value about Coshocton County and envision for its future.
Through an Ohio Department of Agriculture grant, Neighborhood Strategies is contributing community planning, digital mapping, and data analysis expertise to help turn that community vision into a practical roadmap for the county.
An updated land use plan can help Coshocton County prepare for future needs, guide local policy decisions, and strengthen its ability to pursue grant funding for infrastructure, safety, agriculture, land preservation, and responsible development.
“We are honored to continue helping communities proactively prepare to be resilient, vibrant, prosperous and accessible for generations to come,” said Jim Lenner, principal of Neighborhood Strategies. “We are based here in Ohio, so we are very happy to support our Coshocton County neighbors.”
As the planning process continues, residents, landowners, and business owners will have additional opportunities to help shape the future of Coshocton County.
