Celebrating the Retirement of Vince Paumier
Neighborhood Strategies is celebrating the retirement of Vince Paumier, one of the first members of our team and a dedicated professional who has spent years helping communities across Ohio plan for the future.
Vince brought more than 30 years of experience in community development and program management to Neighborhood Strategies, including a significant portion of his career with USDA Rural Development. During his time with our firm, he partnered with local governments, community leaders, and stakeholders on a wide range of projects, including comprehensive plans, zoning initiatives, economic development efforts, grant writing, and community development strategies.
Vince's technical expertise and planning knowledge have greatly benefited communities across Ohio, and those who worked with him appreciate his down-to-earth personality, steady demeanor, and ability to make even the most complex challenges feel approachable. Throughout his career, he became known for his unique way of building trust, fostering collaboration, and helping communities identify opportunities and move projects forward.
The impact of Vince's work can be seen in communities throughout the state, but his influence extends beyond the projects themselves. He has been a valued colleague and an important part of the Neighborhood Strategies team since its early days.
Retirement will bring new adventures, including more time with family, opportunities to travel to new destinations, and plenty of time on the pickleball court.
Please join us in thanking Vince for his many contributions and wishing him happiness, health, and success in this exciting next chapter. Congratulations, Vince, on a well-earned retirement!
