Economic Guidance for Decision-Making

Through ongoing analysis of residential and commercial investment, our team provides data-driven insights that guide electrical and natural gas infrastructure planning and capital decision-making. We facilitate coordination with local governments, industry leaders, and regional partners, including JobsOhio and OneColumbus, ensuring The Energy Cooperative remains actively engaged in shaping and supporting growth across its service area.

Securing Funding to Modernize & Safeguard Natural Gas Infrastructure

Neighborhood Strategies led two successful grant applications, securing $6 million in federal bipartisan infrastructure funds (FY 2023) through the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration’s (PHMSA) Natural Gas Distribution Infrastructure Safety and Modernization (NGDISM) grant program. These funds are supporting critical system upgrades that enhance safety, increase reliability, and expand infrastructure capacity to meet current and future demand.
