CaDIZ RISING
A Strategic Vision for 2040
>>> PROJECT OVERVIEW
Cadiz Rising will help curate growth responsibly to promote a balance of preservation, adaptive reuse, redevelopment, and development. The plan will address the entire village; however, sections will focus in on the following areas of Cadiz: downtown, the US-250 corridor, Sally Buffalo Park, the school campus, the Harrison County Airport, and the industrial park. The strategic planning process will consider past and current conditions to plan for a vibrant and resilient future for the Village of Cadiz.
>>> STEERING COMMITTEE
A Steering Committee made up of community members has been formed with guidance from the Village of Cadiz. The steering committee will meet monthly across the duration of the project to discuss plan components, refine content, hear updates, determine recommended future land use, and review community input. The committee will serve to guide community engagement, help inform recommendations, and hold the project team responsible for the final plan.
